In 1978, two visionary legal minds, Dr. Mujahid Al Sawwaf and David Wells, came together to establish one of the very first law firms in Saudi Arabia. They saw the need for a firm that could bridge local law with global legal standards, offering businesses the counsel they needed to navigate an evolving regulatory environment. Mujahid M. AlSawwaf
A legal scholar with degrees from Baghdad and Oxford, specializing in civil litigation and Sharia law. Experienced in teaching and serving as counsel in U.S. firms, he represents clients internationally, including Saudi Arabia.
David M. Wells
Mr. Wells, a Northwestern University and Georgetown Law graduate, is a California Bar member specializing in corporate law and civil litigation. Renowned as the longest-serving Western attorney in Saudi Arabia, he provides diverse legal advisory services.
Yasmeen AlSawwaf
Yasmeen Al Sawwaf, a Saudi-Canadian lawyer, brings a distinctive global perspective to the legal profession, shaped by her diverse academic background and extensive experience across multiple legal systems.
Ayda Kamaleldine
Our senior lawyer and manager, Ayda offers expert legal services in business law and foreign investments, fluent in Arabic and English, and is recognized for her legal research.
Housam El-Zein
Mr. El-Zein, holding law degrees in Business and Civil Law from Lebanese University, specializes in commercial and labor law. With experience in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, he joined Mujahid M. AlSawwaf and Co., advising international corporations and ensuring legal compliance.
Eva Noureddine
Eva has a background in international law, with a particular focus on the legal and regulatory frameworks of both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.She has experience as a paralegal and compliance officer, and has completed a training program at the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO) in Turin.
Dr. Ahmed Tantawy
Dr. Ahmed Tantawy serves as the Head of Operations, overseeing the firm’s strategic infrastructure and organizational performance. He is a Canadian-licensed physician and a former university lecturer. Dr. Tantawy is Harvard-trained in business principles.
